The prevalence of obesity has reached serious dimensions and has become an important public health problem. Multidisciplinary approaches in the treatment of obesity increase the success rate in both prevention of obesity and treatment steps. In this context, knowledge and experience transfer of experts serving in different health fields was conveyed using interactive training methods.
Unhealthy nutrition practices are increasing in the world and in our country, and a diet with high energy density is becoming widespread. Accordingly, countries take urgent measures. Dietitians have important duties in raising public awareness in the fight against obesity, in the creation of nutrition plans and policies, in preventing the waste of country resources, in ensuring healthy nutrition for all individuals and in developing personalized nutrition models in diet therapy.
