Within the scope of the Institutional Food Services in Disasters Conference I, the role of Kızılay in the planning and implementation of institutional food services in disaster situations was discussed. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semra Navruz Varlı moderated the event, while Onur Alp Sivri, a representative of Kızılay and a Disaster Management Expert, participated as a speaker. In his presentation, Onur Alp Sivri shared comprehensive information about the organization of feeding services in disasters and emergencies, logistical processes, food security, feeding planning for vulnerable groups, and the practices carried out by Kızılay on a national scale.

A certificate of appreciation and a plaque were presented to Onur Alp Sivri by our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Nilüfer ACAR TEK, and our Deputy Head of Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semra NAVRUZ VARLI.
