As part of our university's 100th anniversary celebrations, our department organized an event titled "Becoming a Dietitian in Sports Teams and Sports Federations." The event, featuring Dr. Aylin Hasbay Büyükkaragöz, shared information on the professional responsibilities, work areas, roles of multidisciplinary teams, and current information regarding athlete nutrition for dietitians working within sports teams and federations. The activity, which garnered significant interest from both students and educators, emphasized the importance of maintaining athlete health and performance, while also sharing professional experiences and recommendations for aspiring dietitians planning a career in athlete nutrition.
Our Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Nilüfer ACAR TEK, presented Dr. Aylin Hasbay Büyükkaragöz with a certificate of appreciation and a plaque.
