Our department, in collaboration with KAPUM, organized the “Career Days 2026” event to support students' professional development, contribute to their career planning processes, and strengthen their interaction with alumni. Held in the Health Sciences Faculty Conference Hall, the event brought together students with experts from various fields such as academia, clinical practice, public health, and nutrition counseling.

The opening speeches were given by the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Prof. Dr. Nilüfer ACAR TEK, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Bülent ELBASAN. The opening speeches emphasized the importance of training qualified human resources in the field of nutrition and dietetics, increasing students' professional awareness, and strengthening university-industry collaboration.

As part of the program, the Career Planning and Alumni Tracking Team was introduced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emine YASSIBAŞ. Following this, experts from different fields shared their professional experiences with the students.

The event included presentations by Dr. Öğr. Presentations were given by faculty members Şerife AKPINAR ŞENTÜRE on “Academic Career Journey”, Dr. Dyt. Nüket ÜNSAL on “Dietitian in Clinical Practice”, Dr. Dyt. Büşra TOTAN on “The Nutrition Counseling Journey”, Uzm. Dyt. Emel Cemile DÜZENLİ on “Nutrition Services Management”, and Dyt. Müge POYRAZ on “Public Health Dietetics”.

The speakers shared their knowledge and experience regarding professional specialization areas, career planning processes, field experiences, and interdisciplinary work approaches with the students, contributing to the development of their career awareness.

As part of the program, a “10th Anniversary Graduates Certificate Presentation” ceremony was held for our graduates who completed their 10th year in the profession by the faculty members.
